Question
Dear Johnson

Is marble flooring allowed on Airports runways?.

Thanks
Prashant

Answer
Prashant - I am not sure what you mean by "flooring."
If you mean the surface versus concrete, grass, or any other natural surface, it would not be very practical.
Concrete/asphalt or a combination is probably the cheapest and best. There is a lot of weight per square inch on landing and marble would probably hold up.
They also stripe/paint groove it to provide better braking in wet weather.
