If your compression checks are 62 and higher on an IO-520, how much beyond TBO can you run the engine assuming no problems or warning signs.

Hi,
I don't have any experience running engines past their TBO.  That said, it sounds like you are thinking that, if the compression is good, and that there are no warning signs, that everything will be good.  

Remember though, the TBO is based on a number of things.  For example, in a hypothetical engine, it's possible that after "XXXX" hours the crankshaft journals may begin to crack, or some other part could begin to decay, of which their may be no indication until that part actually failed.  The only way to determine the condition of those parts, would be to have the engine disassembled and inspected.  

The engine manufacture, or a certified engine shop, would be the best source of information on this matter.  

Even if I thought I knew the correct answer, it would not be wise to follow advice about extending the TBO of your aircraft engine, from someone on the internet who has no liability in that decision.
