Question
WHAT IS THE FUNCTION AND LOCATION OF THE THRUST BALANCE CHAMBER?

Answer
Unfortuneately I am not familiar with that engine. However, the term is used in describing the area between the turbine blades of a prop jet engine. As you know there is two sets of turbine blades, one to drive the engines compressor and the other the prop shaft. Until the prop gets up to speed it's turbine can restrict the flow of gases that could over heat the engines combustion chambers and stall it out. A balance chamber between them prevents this. If I had that engine manual available to me I might have been more helpful.
