Question
Sir,
I am Swaroop,an aeronautical engineer graduate from India.I have an over all 69% in my graduation.I am not aware of the oppurtunities available in the market.Any site i visit or enquire they are asking for atleast 2+ experience. Please help in finding the potential career to begin with as a fresher.

Thankyou for your advice in advance.

Answer
Hi, Swaroop:

Yes, that is fairly typical here in the USA, too:  The aerospace employers are generally flooded with resumes and are just now beginning to experience growth in activity, so, there are more aerospace engineers out looking for jobs than there are jobs.  The good news is that aviation employment, in general, is just beginning to grow again after four years of downturn.....

For you, I would suggest searching all of the known data bases and websites for employment leads.  Here in the USA, the key sites for this sort of search are:

www.thirtythousandfeet.com/employme.htm

www.nationjob.com/aviation/

www.aviationemployment.com

www.degreehunter.com/engineering_jobs/html

http://erecruitingsolutions.typepad.com/aerospacejobs/

As far as USA jobs, there is an excellent listing of aviation jobs available from AIR JOBS DIGEST, which is one of the sites listed on the www.thirtythousandfeet.com website mentioned above.

I wish you the best of luck in finding a position that suits your qualifications,

Sincerely,
