Question
i would like to know the 20 largest airports by area in the world.
1=largest and 20=smaller.
ok in the uk,heathrow is the largest by area.
and is dallas fw the largest in the usa.

Hi,
I am sorry, but, I do not have that complete ranking.
I do know the following:
In the past, Montreal Mirabel Airport was ranked as the largest by land area at something like 80,000 acres. You might want to check with Transport Canada to see if that is still the case.
As for the USA, the largest airport in land area is not DFW, it is Denver International Airport at over 34,000 acres. As far as I am aware, DFW is next at just under 18,000 acres. I believe Dulles in Washington, DC is about 11,000.....
As far as primary airports in the USA, I believe that San Diego Lindbergh is the smallest at around 475 acres....
