Question>>>respected sir,
i've just passed my 12th board with 64% .
sir i am very intrested in doing AERONAUTICAL ENGINEERING.infact i've got admission in in:
INDIAN INSTITUTE OF AERONAUTICAL ENGINEERING AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY-PUNE.
(INDIA)
this college was established in 2001 and it offers the degree-A.M.Ae.S.I(ASSOSCIATE MEMBER OF AERONAUTICAL SOCIETY OF INDIA) which is given by THE AERONAUTICAL SOCIETY OF INDIA and this degree is equivalent to B.E./B.Tech.
i wanted to know that is aeronautical engg. having good job oppurtunities in INDIA and if it is lees in india should i drop the idea of doing aeronautical engg and do some other engg. course?
after doing aeronautical with the degree A.MAE.S.I,which will be more useful: to do MBA OR M.Tech+Phd as far as getting high salaries and promotions are concerned?
i've heard that aeronautical engg is demanding in ABROAD.so after doing MBA or MTECH can an AVERAGE STUDENT LIKE ME GET JOBS IN ABROAD?
PLEASE CLEAR MY DOUBTS SIR/MA'M.i'll be really thankful to you.plzz REPLY ME THROUGH MY e-mail ID.
your valueable suggestion will really help me decide my future in a systematic way.
thanking you,
ritu
AnswerIf you are looking for high salaries and promotion I would advise you to get the MBA.... MTech (MS) and or PhD are really for people interested in research (which doesn't necessarily translate into salary....
As an "average" student you may find it difficult to get employment abroad.... In the US for example there are many students graduating from US Universities available for employment, so I doubt a company would be willing to go through the paperwork of bringing in a foreign employee... (it's probably easier to get a VISA changed for employment if someone is already in the country as a student)
Hope this helps,
