Aerospace/Aviation/cabin air systems

Question
Dottie,

I am doing research for a book that I am writing. The plot involves a terrorist who contaminates the air supply on an aircraft with an aerosolized virus. I am familiar with some aspects of the air system but have some questions about specifics. Is this your area of expertise?

Answer
Whit,

I am not sure what kind of information you want about cabin environmental, but I think all you need to know can be found at either of these two aircraft systems review websites:

www.b737.org.uk

www.smartcockpit.com

Both sites have in depth reviews of 737 systems, and the latter has the 767 as well. You can study up on all the basics on airliner pnuematics. Hope this will give you more than you need!
