Question
Can you show me a sample of an Affirmative Action plan and how it is developed. What are the calculations involved, and how do you do it. Thanks

Answer
Hi Roshmik,

I have enclosed a step by step website document that will help you get started.  Affirmative Action Plans are extremely detailed and sometimes complicated when doing these by hand.  Johns Hopkins uses an outside vendor to do theirs due to the numbers we have to work with and the job groupings.  Take a look at the site and the other site that I have included which lists additional references.  Any other questions that you have involving developing these plans, please feel free to ask anytime since this is a very lengthy process it cannot be answered in a single sitting.  I have always recommended that if it is part of your actual job that you go to a short course in AA planning just to get the terminology down.
