Question
what are some reasons that support that juveniles should be tried as adults?

Answer
The main argument for trying juveniles as adults is that if they commit the same crimes as adults and pose the same threats to society as adults, that they should receive the same sorts as punishments as adults.  The idea that minors should be held to some different standard is actually a relatively new idea.
