Sorry to bother you, but when I haven't been able to find this information on my own (admittedly I haven't tried that hard...) and I'd really like to know where he and Matt Damon trained as screenwriters, if at all.

hi!  i'm so sorry to have taken so long to repond to you, but i went out of town for a brief (too brief!! :-)) few days.

as for your question, ben and matt have not had, as far as i know any formal screenwriting training but they worked on the script together for years and years before getting it produced.  they did use screenwriting software.  the same software is available at the greenlight.com website.

they are planning to write more together and ben, in fact, is the author/co-author of the new tv show push, nevada.
