Question
I am trying to travel from Ghana to Morocco overland and then onto Spain. I
want to do it with out a round trip ticket is this possible to obtain the
documents and move through these countries? Do you recommend just buying a
refundable ticket and switching the locations after presenting them to the
embassies for visas? Also I am thinking of doing this on my own is this a
dangerous idea? Thanks for your help.

Answer
I'm on my iPhone, so this will be brief.  The answer is yes to all your questions.  You must do detailed preparation on your own to make the trip the memory of a lifetime, and to reduce risk.  Lonely Planet, Rough Guide, and Brandt travel texts are a good starting point.  Also use the online travel community, Virtualtourist.com for uptodate info and personal resource networking.  You need visas for all countries before you go to reduce hassles at the border.  The most challenging part this trip will between south Morrocco and Senegal.  Hope this helps, good luck...
