I am a student at Lincoln University in PA, and i have to do a research project on a subject comparing differences between Africans and African Americans. I was wondering if you could tell me the difference in comparing the African Traditional style of dress and the African American style of dress?

I don't know what a 'African American dress - code' looks like. Remember that Africa is a big continent and hundreds of different cultures. Some are influence by the western world.(USA brand names like Nike etc, Some tribes is sticking to their cultures. Masai (Kenia) wearing most of dark red... Like a throw. Depending on their marital status women will wear purple. Most african women will dress very colorfull. Maybe wear also something on their head. I am sure you will get some photos on the net. But keep in mind --- Africa is not like America where everybody wears the same clothes.(western world) There is to many cultures and tribes to get a general point of view.
