Question
Hi,
I live in South Central Kentucky.  I have about 12 acres of horse pasture I was going to overseed this fall with some orchardgrass and Timothy. Due to the recent drought I have not gotten a chance to sow the seed as of yet. Is it getting to late in the season? If so, when is the best time in the spring to sow the seed?

Answer
Dennis
You would be better off asking your County Extension Office for the dates.
As of this morning, Oct. 10th we had 24 degrees here and during the day we had snow flurries. So, you can see our farming would be very different.
Best of luck for your crop,
Richard
