Question
I have read several articles on potatoes and none has really answered my question on a potatoe blooming.  Is it supposed to bloom?  If so are all of the plants supposed to bloom?  If they don't bloom, will the plant still produce potatoes?
I guess you can tell this is our first time of planting any potatoes and we don't know very much about it.
Thanks in advance

The blooms do not have any thing to do with the production of the tubers. It does not matter if they bloom or not. Some people say that is the way to tell when you can start eating the potatoes that are being produced by the plant. I think they are too small at that time, I would suggest waiting for at least a month longer. Hope you have a good crop,
Richard
