can you tell me anything about how to get rid of *horse tails"?

Dear Celia,
I have two methods. Depending upon your circumstances, one may not be doable. I have a beautiful herd of goats that just love that stuff! One goat will do an amazing amount of weed control. The other method I have for my yard itself, as goats will also eat fruit leaves and ornamental foliage, I simply make sure I keep it short so it cannot go to seed. Reseeding itself is the biggest problem in getting rid of it.
