Question
QUESTION: I Have A Couple Of Fruit Trees That I Wanted To Put On Bigger Pots And My Question Was Can I Mix In Steer Manure In The Bigger Pot. I Seen The Steer Manure At My Local Hardware Store It Is A 1 Cubic Foot Bag And Was Thinking Mixing It With Another Cubic Foot Of All Purpose Soil. Will That Be Ok For The Fruit Tree Or Is It Bad For It?

ANSWER: Oscar
The bag of Steer Manure should have what portion to mix with your All Purpose Soil. I would think 1 to 1 would be too strong of mixture.
Good Luck and Merry Christmas

QUESTION: What Would You Consider Not To Strong Of A Mixture?

Answer
Oscar
You should be able to mix 1/2 bag of Manure with 1 bag of the All Purpose Soil. Keep it moist and watch that no mold forms around the edge. If it does just stir the top to dry just the top inch and that will stop the mold. The tree will only take up so much.
