Question
Hi-I'm buying 2.5 acres that is heavily treed and covered with nettles between the trees-I thought about spraying with glyphosate but its a huge area and I'm not sure I want to do that-any suggestions for getting out the nettles?

Answer
Tom
The only other choice you have is to dig them out, roots are the main part you will be looking for and will want to dry up. The second thing to consider is burning the plant each time it comes up. The roots will die from not having the plant feed them.
If these are the stinging nettles, they are good to eat and to make tea with. Use them while they are young. Wear gloves when cutting and when boiled or dried they will not sting you.
Good Luck
