Agriculture/top dressing corn

Question
I have a wildlife food plot planted in corn and lablab. It was planted June 1.  On inspection this week the corn is stunted, not tasselling and yellowing badly.  I suspect nitrogen deficiency. Is it too late to topdress some fertilizer and save the production?  Thanks for your advice. Cindy

Your observation sounds correct. Not knowing where you live and the corn is not tasselling yet you might be able to feed it some nitrogen and get some results. I would use a water base nitrogen or mix dry nitrogen with water to get it down into the roots as soon as possible.
Good luck and thank you for your wildlife food plot.
