Question
This maybe outside your expertise but I thought I'd at least try:

I have a question regarding grass that grows on farms and the cows that feed on them.

1) I need two pieces of information regarding the rate of grass growth on a farm: How much does the grass grow on the farm if the cows don't eat it? How much does it grow if the cows do eat it?

2) How much grass does one cow consume in a given period of time?

The rate any grass will grow depends on, the type of grass-amount of sunshine it gets-amount of fertilizer it has-amount of water and the type of soil.
Make a square three by three foot fence and place it in the pasture where the cows are feeding. They cannot eat the fenced off area and you will know how much the grass will grow in a week, two weeks and one or two months
by looking inside the fenced off area.
One cow will eat 30 punds of grass at a feeding if it taste good to them.
Hope this information helps
