Question
I planted some cut up pieces of white potatoe in the early summer. the plants about 5 of them grew and I just dug them up this week. out of the bunch I got 3 red potatoes and the rest were white. how is this possible?

That is a good question. I would like to know where you obtained your seed pieces, out of the grocery store or from a catalog? Were the 3 red potatoes on the plant with white potatoes?
I have never experinced something like that, I raise about 50 to 75 acers a year. Somehow a red seed piece was planted without you knowing it was there.
