Question
I cannot find anyone else to help me.  How do you remove (take out) old iron t-bars that are in my old farm fence?  I can spend hours bashing them back and forth to loosen them but still am not strong enough? to pull out. Dig them out?
I've tried chain and jack but chain slips.
Help,  luba

Answer
Hi;
I have been able to use a handyman jack and a small chain to pull them out, but mine were in sand. Have you tried a strong rope instead of a chain? If you have trouble with the rope slipping try putting the jack under the three or four knots that are tied as tight as you can get them. If all else fails you will have to dig them out.
Good Luck, Richard
