Question
Hello, I am 45.5 years old and fairly fit and feel strong, I have been facinated
with art and philosophy of Aikido for several years but I wonder if I am to old to
begin lessons (I have never taken a martial arts class) what do you think? What
county of New York are you in? Thank you!

Answer
Hi Susansa,

Definitely try aikido! I started when I was about 38 and am still practicing at 60. I live in upstate New York. If you live in the NYC area, I would suggest contacting Sensei Gary Snyder of Aikido Kokikai of NYC (http://www.nycaikido.com/). He is a wonderful teacher.
