Hi Dave,
I have been reading your notes and thank you for the help to the guys.

What is the min ventilation air I need for an area with no people but conveyor belts and baggage handling sorting machines?

Answer
The governing set of standards you want to look at is from ASHRAE  American Society of Heating Ventilating and Air Conditioning Engineers.
Just thought that it might make your search easier.
