Question
Hello, I've been looking at buying an air purifier. Their is a purifier that claims it blows all the other purifiers out of the water. It's type is called "Purifying hydroxyl radical". If you could give me some thorough, detailed info.On what this is and why it is so controversial I would highly appreciate it. Thank you very much for your time.
                        Sincerely, Marcus Burt

Answer
Marcus...

My personal knowledge is very limited on this specific subject.

However (probably as you have), I've checked around the Internet.

I would personally regard it as sales hype - hydroxyl radicals are free radicals & therefore potentially dangerous, but in reality their effect is likely to be negligible.

I suppose I could find & give you chapter & verse, but it would only be from sources that you could readily locate yourself.

At best, I would equate the device to the relatively ineffective ozone air purifiers.

Purely my personal opinion.

If you really do need further information, I will endeavour to assist.
