QuestionQUESTION: Sir, I have a passport which is valid intil 2009 but recently i had applied for the CHANGE OF THE ADDRESS as we had shifted somewhere in the same city, I got the new passport with the new number,, i am afraid coz i am travelling to Benin next month and the visa for Benin is stamped in the previous passport,so pls advise me whether is this harmful to me, My previous passport is not being cancelled.I do not know whether i will suffer any kind of problem while travelling as i have the permanent resident card of Benin also..
ANSWER: Dear Bunty,
I did not understand your question.
You stated that you have an "old" still valid passport with a valid visa for Benin and you are concern since you have a new passport, because you changed your address. Is this right?
What is the problem with your change of address? Please inforn also the nationality of the passport you are holding.

QUESTION: Had just changed the Address in my passport so they gave me a new passport with 36 pages of booklet i hope there will not be any problem sorry for the language as i am novice in english
AnswerDear Bunty,
So you have a new passport and again, I did not understand your question because you did not inform your nationality.
By your name, I am assuming that you have an Indian nationality. If there is the case, you will need a visa and a yellow fever vaccination certificate to enter the Republic of Benin. Also malaria prophylaxis is recommended.
