Question
can't I carry un-opened, sealed alcoholic miniture bottles (less than 3 oz) in a plastic bag in my carry on baggage?  Your information does not address this type of issue. thanks.

Answer
Dear T,

I checked my records and I did not see that I answered this question to you before.

The TSA' 3-1-1 rule for carry-on baggage stands for:

3 ounce bottle or less.

1 quart-sized, clear, plastic, zip-top bag, i.e. this bag limits the total volume per person and the total liquid volume must not exceed one-quart of the bag.

1 bag per passenger placed in screening bin.

So you can carry-on as many miniature bottles you can store into a one-quart of the bag.

Hope this clarifies.
Best Regards,
