Question
Hi Robert,

My cousin and I purchased an United airfare through hotwire. The flight itinerary has been changed by United to a later time that does not meet our schedule. Our airfare is non-refunable but changeable. Is there a way for us to get a refund or credit without being charge a fee?

Additionally, if they were to grant us credits, will I be able to use my cousin's credit for my future travel?

Thank you in advance.

Answer
Dear Kystren,

If your original purchase involved a flight which times were changed by United, then you're not supposed to pay any fee.

Also you can use her travel credits, provided that your cousin signs and transfer them to you. Your ticket due to its nature, will remain non-refundable.

Best Regards,
