Question
I will have one hour from the time my United Flight arrives from Denver until my United Flight leaves for Rome is that enough time to get to gates at Dulles.  Think United is C&D

Answer
Dear Brenda,

Since you'll be traveling in one airline, United will be responsible to accommodate you if you miss your connection. Make sure that you have your baggage tagged to Rome and your boarding pass Dulles-Rome produced when checking-in in Denver.

United uses in Dulles gates located on terminals C and D and most gate usage is historical, i.e. the same flight arrives and departs from the same gate. You can check it at http://www.united.com/ on the Flight Status tag two or three days before your departure, to have an idea of the gate distance between flights.

You can check Dulles terminal map at:

http://www.mwaa.com/dulles/parking_transportation_3/directions_maps/terminal_map

As an example, flight 316 arrived at gate D4, flight 918 at gate C11  and flight 988 departed yesterday from gate C8. Most probably these flights are the ones involved in your itinerary.

Hope this helps,
Best Regards,
R. Gomes
