Question
Queation...is the YEAR date ever printed with the date in the 'not valid after box'As my ticket was refused as the date was diffrent from the date of issue.small print does say on back that 'date of issue or another date if printed',but the new date printed was now more than a 12 month period from the date of issue and this caused the problem .

Answer
Gabriel,

Like I told you before, only the issue date has the year since it is understood that if a ticket is valid for ONE YEAR, there is no need to repeat such information. Some systems use the year in such boxes, others don't.

You probably have a receipt or a credit card statement that can used as a proof of purchase. Also you mentioned the "new date". Was your original ticket re-issued ?
