Question
I'll be travelling to Canada via Kennedy Airport where I'll have to go through US customs.  How many bottles of liquor can I bring with me as gifts to my Canadian friends?

Answer
Dear Debbie,

According to the US Customs information, each traveler is entitled to bring to the US one liter (33.8 fl. oz.) of alcoholic beverages that may be included in his/her exemption provided that:

* You are 21 years old.
* It is for your own use or as a gift.
* It does not violate the laws of the state in which you arrive.

Penalties will vary from apprehension to penalties.

Hope this info helps.
Best Regards and Merry Xmas
