Question
hi..i have been corresponding with someone in the u.k. and i am in the u.s.  now they have e mailed the flight info to me, but now are talking about a basic travel allowance also. so i need to ask what is a basic travel allowance and is this for real?  also, despite the fact that the flight schedule has been sent here, is there a way i can call the airlines and verify that she is indeed booked on these flights?  thank you much!

Answer
Dear James,

Yes, you can call the airline reservations and reconfirm the flight itinerary either by providing the Record Locator or your last name and flights involved.

Since you did not provide the airline name, I can not inform you the allowances applied which I presume are referring to how much baggage you can check. You can ask reservations on this issue as well. If not you'll need to contact your end at UK to recheck.

Best Regards,
