Question
Roberto, I book my Daughters ticket, with my as primary contact, and I ended up as the passenger name...and it cost me.   I am feeling like I need to take travelocity tio small claims...I am positive I entered the right Passenger name...it seems the use of the credit card or the primary contact info changed it.

Answer
Dear John,

I made a exercise at the passenger name stage that you mentioned at Travelocity site, and I saw two fields as follows:

1. Review the passenger name for the flight

Names must match what appears on the government-issued photo ID for each traveler. Airlines do not allow travelers to change names on tickets after purchase.

* Traveler 1 (Adult): John Smith
= Required*

2. Select a trip contact

This person will be the primary contact and will receive all communication for this trip.
* Trip Contact
or
Enter a different name

So the name of your daughter should have been entered before this window appears and you should have been selected a different name to be entered as the primary contact.

Also after flight selection a window appears with general policies and the first warning refers to the fact that once the ticket has been issued the name on the ticket cannot be changed.

You can try to write them and ask for a refund (if the fare rule permits).

Best Regards,
R.Gomes
