Question
Flight from guadalajara to fresno with a conection in LAX

On april 22th I took a plane from guadalajara to Los Angeles (alaskan airlines). There I went throght the customs and claim my baggage and evething was ok. Then when I got out of the arrival zone there was a drop of point or tranfer counter and they told me that I could leave it there and they would take it. When I arrived to Fresno it was not there so I went to the last airline involved (American airlines)to file a missing bag. Until now I have been checking every 12 hours and nothing. I dont know who is responsible, the last airline or LAX airport.

Answer
Dear Cesar,

The last carrier involved in your itinerary is responsible for the proper tracking and tracing of your missed bag.
Just make sure that the claim tag you're holding shows that the bag was checked from Guadalajara to Fresno via LAX.
Also they are responsible to indemnify you in case they did not recover your bag.

Hope this helps,

Best Regards,
