hi, right now i have 2 months can i travel u.s to india and can i come back when i have 6 or 7 months pragnancy

Answer
Dear Nayana,

First of all congratulations for the upcoming baby.

The most complicated issue that may affect your baby lies in the despressurization of the cabin.

Normally after the 28th week of pregnancy, a medical certificate or letter signed by an appropriately qualified doctor or midwife is required, stating:

- the confirmation of a normal pregnancy
- the estimated date of delivery
- that you are in good health
- that there is no reason known to them that would prevent you from flying.

Please note that for your safety, if you choose not to carry a medical certificate, the airline will reserve its right under certain circumstances, to refuse boarding.

If yours is a multiple pregnancy, no air travel is permitted after the 32nd week of gestation. For single pregnancies, travel after the 36th week of gestation will be permitted only after prior clearance is granted by airline medical department.

So call your airline and check with them for the necessary steps before your flight.

Best Regards,
R. Gomes
