Hello, Roberto,

Is it possible to change return date after departure on international flight fare without penalties (a non-refundable ticket) by means of a travel insurance (instead of bying expensive open end ticket)? If so how to do it?

Also, what is the optimal time before departure to arrive to airport for international flight at JFK?

Dear Vlad,

You'll need to investigate the fare rules and the associated penalties/fees involved in a date change. It varies from airline to airline.

As far as JFK is concern, normally 2 hours before departure is recommended.
