Air Travel/Travel with leg in plaster

Question
I must travel from the UK to the US in a week or two. I expect to still be wearing a plaster cast on one leg, very much restricting mobility. Is there any problem for the airlines with this? Can I contact them and request a seat which would be most suitable for my condition? (I expect to fly KLM/Delta)

Answer
Dear David,

No problems whatsoever to travel with a cast.
When making your booking you can ask for a wheelchair to help you during boarding and deboarding and ask for an aisle seat which is the one more suitable for your temporary condition.

Best Regards,
