Question
hi,

i am new to traveling.  i have a basic question. how can a travel agency charge less for a (flight only) than the actual airline? that doesn't make sense to me.  please explain.

thanks,

sk

Answer
Dear SK,

It does not happen so often since some airlines still have to pay sales commission to the travel agencies. Sometimes travel agencies have some bulk fare seats (or group seats) on their pocket that may have a lesser price. It is the only reasonable explanation.
