Question
I brought my self and my daughter-inlaw a ticket around trip from Philadelphia to N.C I paid for them with my credit card, at the last moment she couldn't go. I fly often to N.C. and wanted to change the name on her ticket to mine so I can use it. The air line (US Air) said no it can't be done. The ticket was brought over the counter and has non refundable on it I am not trying to refund it I just want to be able to use so it since I am the owner of it because I paided for it.

Answer
Dear Gloria,

At some low cost airlines you can change the name on a ticket for a fee, but on most airlines, and especially when international travel is involved, there are no name changes allowed. If in question, always read the rules before you buy or contact the travel agent/airline you intend to buy your ticket from.

At least I think that US Air might have considered listening to you to solve this simple issue.

Best Regards,
