Air Travel/Incorrect Info

Question
Is the ticket agent responsible for passing on the wrong information? I was issued a voucher April 28, 2008.  I later spoke with a representative who advised me that the voucher would expire the last day of April. I was attempting to make my reservation on April 30th. It was   just at that time that I learn the voucher expired on the 28th.  Needless to say, I was very hurt.  Would the airline at any time consider waiving the expiration date?

Answer
Dear BJ,

Normally vouchers have a expiration date printed on. If it's not the case and if you have the name/location of the agent that gave you this incorrect info, you can try to ask for a waiver, but I believe after one year, it will mostly unlike.
