Question
My wife will be receiving her new alien card within the month with her married name. Her Italian passport still has her maiden name. We might have to travel to Italy on a moments notice. Can she travel with her documents as they currently are? Please try to respond as soon as possible. THANK YOU !!!

Answer
Dear Antonino,

I tried to find on several websites an answer for you, but I did not locate any similar situation.
If you can reissue her passport fine, otherwise bring your marriage certificate along with you.
It is also a good idea to go to the airport and speak with the airline staff at check-in since they will have the appropriated answer to give you.

Best Regards,
