Question
What paperwork is needed when flying from Texas to Florida with an underage child?

Answer
It will all depend on the child's age and if you booked the child by selecting child fare.  If you did do that, then you should have the child's passport or ID to prove that the child is still considered a child in the airline's policies.

I think it is not required, but it is a good precaution because sometimes, when you miss your flight or something, then when the airline rebooks you to another flight, then the child may need to prove her/his age. (Happened on Southwest Airlines)

Thanks for your question.
