Air Travel/What you can use on an airplane

Question
I will be flying on a transatlantic flight soon and was wondering if I can use my mp3 on the plane.  I ask this because my mp3 has fm radio.  If I don't use the radio but only listen to music recorded on the mp3 will this be ok?  Also, I read that you can turn off wi fi on certain devices.  If I don't listen to the radio, will it still send out signals that might interfere with the airplane?  Also, are songs recorded from the radio okay to listen to?
Thank you for your help.

Answer
Thank you for your question. In short, yes you can take your MP3 player on the plane.

Here is the longer answer:
Technically, you can't take anything that transmits radio signals, however, from doing tests, the result was that it will not affect the plane what so ever if one or 2 people use it.

I mistakenly once had my cell phone on during a flight, but nothing happened even if I had 2 missed calls DURING the duration of my flight.

Just do not declare it to the TSA or the airline company and you will be fine.

Rate my answer if you will??? thanks
