Question
I had a flight booked with direct air out of allentown pa for august 16th  august 23, i had booked in march of this year.  I got an email this friday that my flight was cancelled, I called the call center and they said they are not flying out of allentown anymore.  I called the corporate office this monday.  The did indeed cancel all flights from allentown.  I said we have 2 weeks before we leave and now we are pretty much screwed.  She tryed to book us on a flight from newark but there was not return flight.  She did call back, she tryed to talk to the owner about something but said it would not work, so there was nothing they could do.  She did take my card number for a refund.  Am I screwed??is there anything else i can do, or by giving her by card # is it over?  thanks for your help.  joyce

Answer
In general, the "airline" must refund your ticket one way or another.(credit card credit or a written statement that states that you are entitled for a flight that will get you home).
What airline are you flying? Was it a small airline company? You should contact the head department of the airline and demand a refund or an alternative solution.

Please give me a little more information on the airline that you are flying and I will research for you, guaranteed.  (I am here for you)

Thanks for contacting me.
