Question
Hi,
My family and I are planning a vacation (1 week) to Nicaragua.  It will be 2 adults, and 4 kids, ages 13, 10, 4, and 3. We live in Az and I would like to know what the best way is about getting the cheapest fare. What airline do u recommend? Also, is it true that if I purchase the tickets individually I'll get them cheaper than if I purchase them together? Any advice and tips are welcome and very much appreciated.

Answer
Hello. Thank you for contacting me.
If you want the cheapest, you may want to try cheapoair.com or travelocity.com.
Priceline is pretty good.

In terms of airlines, Continental Airlines is said to be good for S. America. You can try googling Skytrax to find airline reviews by some customers.  Good database.

In terms of individual tickets, some agencies like chapoair is actually cheaper buying them with the family together.  From my experience, I wanted to see if i get cheaper flights domestically, but ended up paying $15 more.
