Question
My husband and I are flying to Mexico and I have only booked our flight to Mexico as we will be returning via San Francisco possibly around the third week in March.  I am just wondering if we will run into any problems with customs as we have no return flight booked?

Answer
Hello and thank you for contacting me. I am terribly sorry that i could't get back to you earlier.

To answer your question, it will all depend on your passport.  In other words, your citizenship.  If you are a Mexican citizen then you do not need a return ticket.  However, if you are an American citizen, you may need a return ticket.

Please contact your air carrier if you have additional questions.

Thank you.
