Question
My grandma died last night. I would like to attend the funeral. I would have to fly from Boise, Idaho to Sioux Falls, SD. I need to know if airlines give discounts for situations like this? Thank you for your time

Answer
I am terribly sorry about your loss. I will try my best to answer your question. You can follow up if you want.

Unfortunately, most flights are pretty much full in this time of the year, but if you do not mind stop overs, then there might be some luck.
I usually like cheapoair or travelocity/priceline.  If you are under 25, you can try sat travel (sta.com) for student fares.

You could try calling an airline of your 'usual' choice. If you are a frequent flier, you maybe able to book a flight that is full (waitlist).

I know that Sioux Falls, SD only has United Airlines, Allegiant, Delta and American Airlines. They are not the best airlines to pick from but it is worth a try to call them directly.

Hope this helps. Again, I am sorry about your loss.
