Can I hand carry live plants (orchids and macadamia) for international travel LAX to Manila Philippines?

Answer
No, all live plants/insects/animals  can't be carried from from country to another.  You must look at the Customs regulations of the specific specific country in which you are immigrating to. In this case, the Philippines.  You must declare customs everywhere you go.
