Hi,

I am traveling to Stuttgart Germany from the US this fall and I have a connection in London.  Can you tell me will I clear customs in London and Germany, or just one and if it is just one, which one?!

I am almost certain that you will clear customs at London, but depending on your passport status (EU Passport) then u will not clear customs in Germany, but at London ONLY.   In other words, if you are a American citizen, you will clear customs twice.  You are going to another country within Europe.  

Another possibility is that you may clear customs in Germany if you are flying with only one carrier.  For example, if you are flying Lufthansa all the way, regardless of a plane change, you may clear customs in Germany.
