Question
Hi, my outward flight with Ryan Air to Tenerife was cancelled by them and i rebooked it free of charge. Because of availability i would now arrive two days before my original incoming flight back. Ryan Air's system does not offer either a change of booking or refund. I paid by credit card for both. I now have rebooked a return flight a second time on my card and feel i should be entitled to a refund for my first return flight. What do you think are my rights and what course of action should i take? Thanx

Answer
It is a fine line because technically, Ryan Air did not do anything wrong in this case.  I assume your flight was cancelled due to the Iceland's volcanic eruptions.  From a customer's point of view, it may seem legit to ask for a free ticket for the 'new' incoming flight.  You should contact them and ask them if they can do that because it is an unusual situation.

Hope this helps.  The airlines technically do not need to accommodate passengers because it is not their fault that the flights were cancelled,
Please rate me answer if you have the chance. Thank you for contacting me.
