Question
I'm from Vietnam, and I want to visit Mexico.
The flight is from vietnam-Japan (narita), narita-Dallas, Dallas-Monterrey.
In this case, do I need to make a US transit visa to pass through the customes in Dallas airport. The transit time in Dallas is about 4 hours.

I know people have to make a transit visa when we transit in us aiport. but i won't enter US or travel to it... i want to arrive in mexico and stay there then i will return to my country after 1 or 2 months.

Please let me know for my case.

Dear Ely,

The US Transit Without Visa (TWOV) and International-to-International (ITI) programs were canceled sometime after the 9-11 events.

All aliens traveling to or through the United States must be in possession of a valid visa.
